Joe Wicks’ live workout on YouTube welcomed over 800,000 families this morning.
The Body Coach is hosting live PE classes every day in order to keep the nation fit and healthy as schools across the UK shut in a bid to tackle the coronavirus outbreak.
The fitness guru, who grew popular with his 15-minute recipes and workout videos, wants to help parents out and keep children exercising during the crises with daily PE lessons.
Today [March 23] Joe welcomed over 800,000 families as millions of children took part in the lesson across the globe, including Brazil, Belfast, Jamaica and Canada.
Here’s what parents can expect if they’re thinking of tuning into the live workout tomorrow morning with their family.
What time is Joe Wicks’ live PE classes?
Every morning at 9am Joe will host the classes that will be 30 minutes in length.

What exercises does Joe Wicks do in the PE class?
The first lesson consisted of a five minute warm up before ten minutes of exercising, a two minute break, and then another ten minutes of exercises.
To finish Joe did some stretches.
During the two sets of ten minutes Joe did ten 30 second exercises which were each followed by 30 seconds rest.
These included running or marching on the spot, squats, star jumps, lunging, boxing, frog jumps, mountain climbers, mummy kicks, kangaroo hops and an exercise called climb the rope.
How long will Joe Wicks’ live PE workouts last?
The Body Coach has promised he will keep doing the live PE classes for as long as schools are shut.
He’s also saving his live videos onto his YouTube channel so those who can’t make the time will still be able to take part.
