Hardik has also managed to stay fit amidst the lockdown period.
Navdeep Saini, the talented Indian fast bowler, has been a bright prospect for his national team in the last year or so. The youngster was first picked for India’s one-off Test against Afghanistan back in 2018 after he was picked as Mohammed Shami’s replacement. However, he didn’t get a game. But in the 2019 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the speedster managed to catch eyeballs.
He played for Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and came into the limelight. He was also picked as a back-up for the 2019 World Cup, though he didn’t get to play in the mega event. After the tournament, he was included in the T20 squad for the tour of the West Indies. In August 3, the Delhi pacer went on to make his debut at the Lauderhill in Florida.
In his very first game, he gave India early breakthroughs. Most importantly, he bowled a wicket-maiden in the 20th over, including taking opposition skipper Kieron Pollard’s wicket. Then around four months later, Saini forayed into ODI cricket as well against the Caribbean team. He was last a part of the Indian team for the tour of New Zealand earlier this year in January and February.
He is next expected to be seen in the 2020 IPL, representing the RCB. For the time being, he is busy taking carer of his fitness. Recently, he uploaded a photo where his chiselled body can be seen. He captioned the picture and wrote, “Well, I take my work very seriously.”

In the meantime, Hardik Pandya, who plays for Mumbai Indians (MI), was happy with Saini’s workout. He drew Saini’s parallels to the legendary Milkha Singh. Pandya replied and wrote, “Hainji mere bhag milkha bhag.”
Saini also had something pleasant to say to the Baroda all-rounder. Navdeep replied and wrote, “@hardikpandya93 hehehe milkha bn gya india 🇮🇳 bhaiya.”

As far as fitness is concerned, Hardik has also been top notch. He has posted videos where he can be seen, doing hop push-ups. Kohli also challenged him on social media. Hardik last played for India in the T20I series against South Africa back in September 2019.
